How can we tell young people how a scientific expedition in the polar regions takes place? How to make science captivating? How can we interest them in the ocean and the poles, major ecosystems for the balance of our planet?
These questions reflect the educational mission that the Forel Héritage Association has given itself: to share knowledge of polar sciences with a wide audience in order to make the polar regions a shared responsibility and to preserve them.
Even at the end of the project before leaving for its first expedition to Greenland, the FOREL crew found time to free the boat for the children. Thanks to the guides of the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly who succeeded in arousing the curiosity of many children.
